Litewave Media films “Extreme Couponing” TLC TV Show

This week, Litewave Media’s Tampa video crew was filming a TV show with the TLC network for a Tampa video production. TLC’s hit show Extreme Couponing came to the Tampa Bay area and hired Litewave Media to execute another successful video production. The show, Extreme Couponing follows several savvy shoppers through a shopping trip where they must stretch their buck to save as much money as they can. TLC and Litewave Media Studios were at a local Kmart for a full day of photography and video production for an upcoming TV episode.

For the video production, Litewave Media’s Tampa video crew was represented by camera operator and proprietor Christian Schwier and his Panasonic HVX-200 HD video camera. Litewave Media Wins Best Special FX at International Film Festival

This summer Litewave Media, Tampa’s premiere video production company, competed in an international short film competition: the 48 hour Guerrilla Film Contest (www.48gfc.com). In just 2 short days our Tampa video production crew wrote, filmed, and edited a short film. Our video production team filmed at a local video studio right here in Tampa bay. The film was written and directed by Litewave Media’s own Christian Schwier. Special FX were supervised by our longtime FX guru Steve Allen and post production was done in St. Petersburg, Florida at Litewave Media’s production studio – edited by Jamie Parslow and Christian Schwier.

Our Tampa video production team reunited at the film premiere a week later, and were honored to win the best Special FX award (besting over 180 teams from around the globe!). Check out our award-winning film below:
