Open water. Sunsets on the Gulf. Wind blowing in our hair….Our latest shoot might sound more like a vacation! But our team worked hard to get some amazing shots for boating company, Beavertail Skiffs! The Litewave Media production team spent two days filming on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico capturing cinematic footage of the boats as well as interviews that will be used for both a TV commercial and web video. Beavertail Skiffs are manufactured with advanced technology making their boats top notch in performance, quality and durability – and the video will show how they use this tech to make the best boats. Beavertail Skiffs was looking to film a TV commercial to promote their product and hired our Tampa video production company to take on the challenge.
Our Tampa camera operator, John Jones, films onboard a Beavertail Skiff boat
Our Tampa video crew member, John Jones, was the cinematographer for the shoot. He filmed on the Sony FS100 video camera which enabled him to capture sweeping slow motion shots of the boats. The first day, our Tampa video production team started at the warehouse to film some interviews with Beavertail Skiffs’ owners William and Elizabeth Leslie. We brought our Litepanel LED lights and Kino Flo Divas from our Tampa grip truck to light up the interviews. “We love using the LEDs to film interviews,” says John. “They are easy to transport and quick to setup on smaller shoots. It makes us really efficient.”
Our Tampa video crew films with the Skiffs out on the water
The second day, Beavertail Skiffs brought 5 boats into the open water. John captured cinematic shots filming from a variety of angles. Some of the shots included filming the owners and employees using different fishing techniques, including flight fishing, and the boats traveling through the sea in slow-motion. At the end of the day, the team captured a perfect sunset with the boats riding off into the sunset.

Florida is a wonderful location for boating and outdoor filming, and we love getting out of the office to enjoy a little fresh air! Our Tampa production company had a great time filming with Beavertail Skiffs and looks forward to our next adventure!

I’ve been waiting for a girl… or “opportunity” like this… to come into my life. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! The new year just started, but Litewave Media has been busy with some incredible new Tampa video productions this year. Our latest video shoot was no exception, when we got the opportunity to film with the classic rock band Foreigner.
We were honored when the L.A. based Incite Media hired our Tampa video production company to film a live performance by the band Foreigner for ProFlower’s new Valentine’s Day promotion. Foreigner is one of the world’s best selling bands of all time, having sold more than 80 million records around the globe! They are the king of love songs which made them a perfect partner for ProFlower’s new bouquet. The promotion is called the Hot Blooded Bouquet inspired by the band’s hit song, “Hot Blooded”.
Litewave Media’s Tampa camera crew captures the live performance from Foreigner
The performance took place at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota. Tickets for the show were sold out. People from all over the country traveled to Sarasota to see the famous band perform their greatest hits, such as Hot Blooded, Juke Box Hero, Waiting for a Girl like You, Feels Like the First Time and I Want to Know What Love Is. As part of the ProFlower’s promotion, everyone in the entire audience received a rose when they came into the venue. When Foreigner sang their last song, Hot Blooded, two cannons on either side of the stage launched rose pedals into the audience for an ultimate climax to the show.
Lead singer Kelly Hansen passionately performs the band’s classic songs
Before the incredible performance by the band, our video production team had the unique opportunity to meet the lead singer Kelly Hansen and original songwriter/lead guitarist Mick Jones for a private interview. Our film crew brought our Tampa grip truck to set up the lighting which included Kino Flos Diva lights, LED lights and a variety of Tampa video equipment to get the perfect interview look.

Christian Cashmir was director of photography and operated a Canon C100 camera, Bryan Coward filmed with a second Canon C100 while Harold “Pinky” Hood served as grip and also did a bit of camera work on a Canon 5D mark III during the concert. Eric Wolfson from Incite Media produced the video production.

ProFlowers released the promotional video on their official website this week, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Do you want to know what love is? Check out the video below!
Our Tampa video crew was honored to meet the legendary band and extremely grateful for the opportunity to hang out with its members backstage. Our Litewave Media founder, Christian, has always been a huge Foreigner fan and owns their entire music collection on vinyl. He was lucky to get one of his Foreigner records, Headgames, signed by Mick Jones, lead guitar/songwriter.

A sassy girl selling a toilet? A barbarian parting ways with his favorite codpiece…yes, read on!
Over the years, Litewave Media has enjoyed producing fun comedy videos, from our feature film Jules Dongu Saves the World, to our Binaca TV Commercials, Fantastics Sams TV Commercials, and many others. And so when Offerdat founder, Richard Wakeel came to our Tampa video company looking to produce a unique, fun, and quirky commercial to market his new mobile app, a lasting partnership was formed. Litewave Media founder recalls, “I remember when Richard walked in our doors. It felt like we were brothers from another time. We instantly clicked and our ideas just kept building together. This is one of the most fun projects we’ve ever worked on.”

Offerdat offers a modern alternative for online classifieds and is available for both iOS and Android. Our Tampa Video Production Company scripted the video with Jeff and Christian co-writing the script along with Richard and his team. A number of top notch actors were hired, and filming took place at Brocante, an antique warehouse in St. Petersburg, FL. Our Tampa video crew found many unique items at the warehouse that were featured in the commercial.
Actors Lexi and Josh with our Litewave Media grip, Pinky
Our film crew arrived early in the morning to the location with our Tampa grip truck and Tampa production equipment. Christian directed and DP’d the shoot. Our gaffer, John Jones, and grip, Harold “Pinky” Hood, set up lighting. Jeff Zampino worked as script supervisor while Ana Christina Sanchez was production assistant. Mike Barnett was in charge of audio. Malachi Cull was behind-the-scenes video camera, and Maylin Morera was on-set photographer.

Our Tampa production crew filmed a variety of off-the-wall scenes, including a scenario where Richard (Offerdat founder) buys a used cod-piece from a barbarian, played by Josh Todd. The most challenging scene was the party scene that incorporated 15 actors and extravagant props.

Our Tampa post production company edited the commercial video for Offerdat. Jordan Conely and Christian Cashmir composed the Offerdat theme song (feature at the end of the commercial) with both of the writers recording vocals and instruments at our Tampa recording studio. Jordan mixed and mastered the track. Check out the commercial below!
Our post production team also edited a “Don’t show yo mama” director’s cut version of the Tampa web commercial. Check out the video below to see why! Let us know which version you like better on our Facebook page.
The Litewave Media team had a blast filming Offerdat’s video commercial in Tampa, Florida and we are excited to share this fun project. Why waste your time selling stuff through a yard sale, or Craigslist when you can just snap a picture, price it and sell it with Offerdat!?

Happy 2015! We hope everyone is enjoying the new year so far. A common New Years’ resolution is to get back into shape, after the holidays and so the Litewave Media film team decided to start working on this goal with the help of Renegade Soccer’s Training Videos. Our Tampa video production company filmed a soccer training DVD series with co-founders Billy and J.R. from Renegade Soccer. We filmed a total of 12 discs with content that included ball technique tutorials as well as fitness training with some top soccer athletes from around the country.
Our production crew films the Renegade Soccer Fitness Training Videos at our Tampa video studio
The soccer workouts and exercises were filmed at our Tampa video production studio. We used three Panasonic P2 video cameras to get a variety of angles on the talent. We also used our 10 foot EZ FX Jib to incorporate more dynamic shots. To light the studio, we used a combination of Kino Flo lights and our new state-of-the-art Altman LED Cyc lights which have the ability to change colors without the use of gel. The soccer workout team decided to use a blue look to unify the branding of the DVD.
Renegade Soccer co-founders, Billy and J.R, lead the training video
Christian (Litewave Media founder) operated the first camera which was mounted on the jib, Kenny Strawn was in charge of the second camera and Harold “Pinky” Hood worked the third camera handheld. Jeff Zampino acted as script supervisor and Mike Barnett captured audio. Ana Christina Sanchez worked as production assistant. It was a long three days of soccer workouts, but we captured a lot of great footage. At the end of the shoot our Tampa production crew even got to try the workout…(we didn’t last very long, but it was fun!)
Ana, Jeff and Pinky get to try out the soccer training with Billy…(don’t worry they’re not on the DVD!)
Our Tampa post production company edited the DVD for Renegade Soccer, which will be available later this year for purchase. The Litewave Media crew will keep working hard and hopefully make lots of “goals” this year…we hope to make Pelé proud!

It’s been an exciting year for Litewave Media. We’ve produced a number of music videos, TV commercials, an independent film, and recently our Tampa video production company had the opportunity to film a series of corporate videos with one of the largest tech companies in the world, Microsoft. We were honored when our long-time client RBD entrusted us with filming and editing the video portion of their online training materials. The Litewave Media team filmed a series of over 30 training videos for the multinational company.

Our video production crew loaded up our Tampa grip truck and traveled to the Microsoft store located in Orlando to film the training videos. To have full access to the store, our production team filmed the videos at night when the Microsoft store was closed to customers.
