Filming With the Eyedirect Mark II

Litewave Media offers the Eye Direct rental at our studio in Tampa, FL. This teleprompter features a lightweight, adaptable design that allows its use with smaller and bigger cameras and with or without a tablet attached. It also allows for multiple images to be projected in front of the camera lens instead of the script, such as pictures. 

The Eyedirect Mark II’s most unique feature is to cover and project the eyes of the interviewer in front of the camera via a wing that covers the interviewer’s face with 40 degrees of lateral adjustability and 35 degrees of tilt. The wing can be used when a tablet is taken off, so not a the same time.

The Eye Direct rental is similar to an Interrotron system allowing an interviewee to look directly at the interviewer through the lens. This enables an interviewer to connect easier with direct eye contact to the subject. Emmy-winning producers have said it allows them to capture more intimate and candid moments.
